Maidaan Box Office Verdict: Ajay Devgn Starrer “Hit Or Flop”?

MaidaanBoxOffice: Amit Sharma’s highly anticipated Bollywood biographical sports drama “Maidaan” premiered in theaters on April 11th. Featuring Ajay Devgn, the film garnered praise and positive reviews from both audiences and critics. Despite the favorable reception, it fell short of high expectations and didn’t achieve a remarkable opening at the box office.  Now that the film has finished its first week in theaters, it’s time to determine whether the film is a box office success or failure.

Maidaan Box Office Collection Day 7

Despite a prime Eid release and positive reviews, Ajay Devgn’s “Maidaan” disappointed fans with its first-day box office earnings of just Rs 7.10 crore. The film witnessed a huge decline on Friday earning ₹ 2.75 Cr. However, after the decline, the sports-drama witnessed slight growth during the weekend, earning ₹ 5.75 Cr on Saturday and ₹ 6.4 Cr on Sunday.

Unfortunately, after a decent growth over the weekend, Ajay Devgn starrer again witnessed a huge drop in earnings over the weekdays. As per sacnilk, the sports-drama plummeted and earned ₹ 1.5 Cr on Monday, ₹ 1.6 Cr on Tuesday and ₹ 2.00 Cr on Wednesday. Made on a budget of Rs. 250 crore, Maidaan now stands at a domestic total of approx. ₹ 27.10 Cr and a worldwide total of approx. Rs 36 crore.

Maidaan “Hit Or Flop”?
