Alia Bhatt is remarked as one of the most prominent and successful actresses in Bollywood. She was recently highly applauded for her role in Gangubai Kathiawadi and following that she is all set to make her Hollywood debut. Alia Bhatt is roped alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in Tom Harper’s movie, Heart Of Stone. Alia spoke on how she bagged a role in Heart of Stone which marks her Hollywood debut.
Few days back she returned to India after wrapping up the shoot of her first Hollywood movie. Alia revealed how she got a break for her big international project. The actress thanks Zoom as it all happened over zoom call. She was excited to work with Gal Gadot as she is a huge admirer of her work.
In a recent interview, Alia Bhatt said, “My team sent me the script and they said, ‘You know they would like for you to read the script and if you are interested, we can get you to Zoom meet with the director’. Thanks to Zoom, a lot of this has become possible.”
The actress further shared, “You don’t have to fly to a meeting. You can do a virtual meeting. I read the script and, of course, I heard that Gal Gadot was going to be starring in it and was also producing it, which I was extremely excited about because I am such a huge admirer of her work and just the person, the force that she is.”
Earlier Alia Bhatt spilled beans on her big project and later shared an update on Instagram when she left for the shoot. She wrote, “And off I go to shoot my first ever Hollywood film!!!! Feel like a newcomer all over again – sooooo nervous!!!! ??? Wish me luckkkkkkk ????”
Apart from Heart Of Stone, on the work front, Alia Bhatt is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Brahmastra. In the fantasy film, she will be seen alongside her husband Ranbir Kapoor. The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced under the banners of Dharma Productions. Brahmastra will release in theaters on September 9.
Post that she has Karan Johar directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. She is roped opposite Ranveer Singh in the family entertainer. The shooting of the film has been completed and it is slated to release next year.
