Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress Vaishali Thakkar recently died after committing suicide by hanging herself. The actress was found dead on Sunday, October 16, at her Indore residence. Meanwhile, the late actress had a last wish which was fulfilled by her parents on October 16 after they donated her eyes before cremating the actress. Her brother recently revealed that Vaishali really loved her eyes and wanted to donate them post her death.
Vaishali Thakkar Wanted To Donate Her Eyes
Vaishali’s brother recently revealed to India Today, that his sister loved her eyes and wanted to donate them post her death, he said, “Vaishali loved her eyes and often used to say that she would like to donate her eyes after her death. She had told the same to her mother as well. The family before her cremation on Sunday donated her eyes to the district health authorities so that someone else could see this world with her beautiful eyes,”.
Why Vaishali Takkar Committed Suicide
Television star Vaishali Thakkar recently committed suicide by hanging herself. Thakkar was 30 and living in Indore for a year. The actress was found dead on Sunday, October 16, at her Indore residence. Vaishali was best known for her role in the Star Plus daily soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
Soon after the suicide news, the police reached the spot and recovered the body. Police recovered a suicide note from the spot. While police have now booked Vaishali’s neighbors for abetment of suicide. It is reported that her neighbor Rahul Nalvani was creating problems for her marriage.
ACP, Moti ur Rehman told ANI, “Rahul was Vaishali’s neighbor and the suicide note indicated that he used to harass Vaishali, because of which she took this extreme step. She was about to get married to another man and Rahul troubled her for that.”

Takkar’s debut television series was Star Plus’s longest-running serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in which she played Sanjana from 2015 to 2016. She is best known for her portrayal of Anjali Bharadwaj in Sasural Simar Ka, Shivani Sharma in Super Sisters, Netra Singh Rathore in Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara, and Ananya Mishra in Manmohini 2.
