In the movie, Sridevi’s character Shashi Godbole proves herself in an international country, without the support of her family.

Well, in the show Gopika’s which will be essayed by none other than Gia Manek – her character will also be seen going through a similar journey but with the help of her mentor, her future mother-in-law Mithila that will be essayed by the talented Rupal Patel.

When spoken to Rupal Patel on her thoughts of the promo being inspired by Sridevi starrer English Vinglish, she said “No one can deny that Sridevi was one of the best actors of Indian Cinema. Some movies inspire us and there is no harm in taking the right inspiration from good ideas, thoughts, and beliefs. Our promo communicates that English is just a language and not a measure of intelligence or ability. Our promo will bring a smile to your face, bring out the human emotions which every Indian can identify themselves with, and leave you with many unanswered questions. And a very good thought that language and mindset may be a barrier, but it is not everything.”
