Shakti Arora Reveals Why He Quit Kundali Bhagya

Kundali Bhagya now has Paras Kalnawat, Sana Sayyad, and Baseer Ali as second-generation main actors playing the characters of Rajveer Luthra, Shaurya Luthra, and Palki Khurana.

Shakti Arora replaced Dheeraj Dhoopar as the male lead of Karan Luthra/Arjun Suryavanshi in the Zee TV series Kundali Bhagya opposite Shraddha Arya. However, the actor has now decided to leave the show after nine months as Kumkum Bhagya makes a 20-year leap forward with new actors starring.

In a recent interview, Shakti Arora revealed the reason she left the Zee TV romantic drama show. While talking to Hindustan Times, the actor said: “I didn’t want to play the father of a 28-year-old. Jahan humaara age difference 4-5 saal ka ho, waha me use beta bolu (If our age difference is only 4-5 years why should I call him my son). That was one of the main reasons.”

Shakti even added that she didn’t want to lose the focus of the show, saying, “You lose the focus. By the time I was there on the show, the whole story was about me. I played Karan and Arjun (Karan Luthra and Arjun Suryavanshi).That was a good role for any actor.

“Maza aa raha tha kaam karke kyuki tv me itna accha kaam milna mushkil hota hai.” given to someone else, I said, ‘okay, I’ll go out peacefully and let other people take over the show now,'” the actor concluded.
