Nishant met with an accident when he was out for a work cum fun leisure trip with some of his friends in the picturesque sand desert tourist destination Jaisalmer in Rajasthan as reported by a leading daily entertainment tabloid.

The actor confirming the same confessed about the unfortunate mishap to the entertainment tabloid publication also reassuring them that currently he is safe. His car got damaged and then a crane had been called over to lift it and also specified that he is safe and happy with his mother’s blessings always. He was driving his SUV when another vehicle ended up ramming into it from the wrong side of the road.

Shedding more light on same, he said, “There is nothing to worry and I am perfectly alright with no injuries. It’s just that the car got badly damaged and a crane was called to lift it. With God’s grace and my mom’s blessings, I am fine”.

He also shared more information on same and said, that while he was driving he suddenly took quick notice of a vehicle coming in from the wrong side on the road and when he went off the road for being safe it ended up with his car being damaged. But thankfully the actor and people in his car didn’t get any major injury.

Spilling more beans on it, the Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega star Nishant asserted, “I was driving and suddenly saw another car coming from the wrong side. The road was quite steep and to save us, I went off the road but in vain. I shifted towards the left but this car rammed into mine. Thankfully, only the car got damaged and all of us were saved without any scratch. Surprisingly, the guy who rammed into our car immediately fled from the spot. Later, we somehow managed to reach our hotel”.

This unfortunate accident and mishap took place on 31st December 2020 at exactly 11:59 pm just a minute before the New Year’s eve. He further also added, “It’s quite shocking to know that this took place sharp at 11.59 pm, just a minute before the entire world was waiting for the clock to strike 12 and celebrate the new year”.

He also spoke that this was his first ever road trip to Jaisalmer and told, “I had never done a road trip and when I was to travel to Jaisalmer, I thought of driving down and took a few friends along. We had planned to extend the stay after work and celebrate the new year in the deserts of Rajasthan. Unfortunately, this mishap took place”.

The actor’s family who reside in Delhi as soon as they got to know about their son Nishant’s accident, his mother especially broke down in tears and adding more on this, he shared, “My mom started crying when she got to about the accident. I calmed her down and told her that I’m perfectly fine and will soon visit Delhi, so that she can herself see that I am all hale and hearty”.

On the work front, currently Nishant has recently completed a digital film titled L.A.C. – Live The Battle, the digital web film which is based on the Sino Indian skirmishes in the Galwan Valley. This film has been directed by Nitin Kumar Gupta and produced by both Nivedita Basu and Chitra Vakil Sharma where even Aashiqui (1990) fame B town star Rahul Roy will be seen in a leading role as well.
