Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav has now finally addressed the viral video of him thrashing influencer, Maxtern.

A viral video recently surfaced, purportedly depicting Elvish Yadav, the winner of Bigg Boss, assaulting YouTuber Sagar Thakur. Subsequently, the Gurugram police filed charges against Elvish for allegedly attacking Sagar, who asserted in his complaint that Yadav attempted to injure his spine. Elvish has now released a clarification video presenting his perspective, claiming that the entire episode was premeditated by Sagar, involving concealed cameras and microphones.

Elvish Yadav Addresses His Controversy Of Thrashing Maxtern

During the clarification video, Elvish addressed the controversy, expressing how certain videos led to him being portrayed as the ‘culprit’, with a trending hashtag demanding his arrest, labeled as ‘Arrest Elvish Yadav’.

Elvish took to his Instagram account to address the controversy in a lengthy video. The winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2 urged the public and his fans to hear his side of the story. Elvish recounted how Sagar Thakur, also known as Maxtern, had been persistently provoking and sharing tweets against him for the past 8 months to boost his own popularity and viewership.

Elvish disclosed that while he initially ignored Sagar’s actions, he felt compelled to confront him personally when things escalated. Elvish also mentioned that Sagar’s threat to “burn his family members to death” pushed him over the edge, resulting in him retaliating physically. Additionally, Elvish alleged that the entire video was staged to generate controversy and portray Sagar as the victim.

What Happened Between Sagar Thakur & Elvish Yadav?

A social media feud erupted between Sagar Thakur and Elvish Yadav after Thakur mocked Yadav, labeling him a “hypocrite” for being photographed with Bigg Boss winner Munawar Faruqui. Yadav, known for his vocal support of Hindutva, faced backlash from his followers for the picture with Faruqui, who was previously arrested for controversial remarks about Hindu deities.

Subsequently, Thakur and Yadav met in Gurugram, where Thakur alleged that he was assaulted by Yadav and a group of 8-10 men around 2 am. Thakur later shared a video showing Yadav and his associates entering a store and attacking him.
