Actor Sushant Singh Rajput tragically passed away on June 14, 2020, in an incident ruled as suicide. On the fourth anniversary of his death, Mahesh Shetty, his close friend and co-actor from ‘Pavitra Rishta,’ penned an emotional message on social media. He also reiterated the call for justice amid the ongoing investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) into the circumstances surrounding Sushant’s death.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Mahesh wrote, “How much longer I wonder? Another year passes by… They said it gets easier and time heals it all, but the questions keep pestering, making it even more difficult…I keep waiting, keep my utmost faith alive in the law of the land but I deserve to know…We deserve to know! #JusticeforSushant.”
TV actor Abhishek Kumar also took to his Instagram stories and shared a cryptic note remembering SSR. He wrote, “14 June (sic) Om Shanti”, he also took to his X handle (Twitter) and wrote, “Bhala tujhe aaj bhi kon bhool paaya hai (Nobody has forgotten you even today).”
Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti shared a throwback video of the late actor enjoying time with his sisters. Alongside the video, she reiterated her plea for justice for her brother.
