‘Welcome To The Jungle’ POSTPONED? Will Not Clash With ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’?

Akshay Kumar starrer much-awaited Bollywood comedy extravaganza, "Welcome To The Jungle" has been postponed.

The third installment in the Welcome franchise, Welcome To The Jungle, is among the most eagerly awaited projects of the year. This film not only marks Akshay Kumar’s long-awaited return to comedy but also features an impressive ensemble cast of over 30 actors—a rarity in contemporary Bollywood. The makers have completed the first schedule of filming, but rumors suggest that the release date may change. Originally set for a December 20, 2025 release, Welcome To The Jungle is reportedly facing delays due to multiple factors.

“Welcome… has been mounted on a grand scale, with the first schedule wrapping up recently in May. It was a lengthy shoot in Aarey, Maharashtra, with the entire star cast present. However, this was just the first of several schedules planned. Additionally, significant VFX work will be required after principal photography concludes. Given these factors, a December 20 release seems unlikely.” a source revealed to Hindustan Times.

As a result of the delay, the film will no longer go head-to-head with Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par, which remains slated for a December release.
