Bail Granted To Elvish Yadav In Snake Venom Case, Fans Rejoice

Youtuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav has been granted bail by the court in the snake venom case.

YouTuber and the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Elvish Yadav, who recently got arrested has been granted bail by a Noida court in connection with a suspected drugs case, as stated by his attorney.

Initially registered at the Noida Sector 49 police station, the case involving Yadav and five others accused them of purportedly supplying snake venom, suspected to be utilized as a recreational drug at a rave party in Noida.

Elvish’s advocate Prashant Rathi said, “The court heard the bail application and granted bail in the case. He will have to furnish two bail bonds of ₹50,000 each which would be submitted in the court”.

Nevertheless, advocate Deepak Bhati, also representing Yadav in the case, mentioned that it could be a while before Yadav is released from Luksar Jail in Greater Noida, where he has been held since March 17th.

He told PTI, “We have initiated legal proceedings. We would apply for provisional acceptance of the bail bonds so that release order is issued at the earliest. It may be issued tonight or may take a few days, considering court will be closed for Holi holidays from tomorrow”.

A video showing Elvish Yadav exiting from the jail went viral after the YouTuber was released. In the video, Elvish was seen amidst the crowd as he waved to his fans and the crowd. Reacting to the video many netizens shared their reactions, while his fans and army rejoiced, others slammed the authorities for bailing out Elvish Yadav.

Fans even set up fireworks to welcome the YouTuber home. Watch video.
