Ankita Lokhande and her businessman husband, Vicky Jain grabbed the headlines during their time in reality show, Bigg Boss 17. Time and time again the couple’s bonding and love were tested in the show, as the fans questioned their love after the two were often seen getting into brawls and verbal altercations. In a recent interview, Ankita Lokhande has now revealed that Vicky Jain initially refused to marry her.
Ankita and Vicky appeared on Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s podcast. During their conversation, Ankita revealed that Vicky had initially refused to marry her. She said, “I had intentions of getting married, but he became apprehensive of our relationship and decided to leave. He expressed his inability to commit to marriage at that point, citing our divergent lifestyles as a significant concern. While he resided in Bilaspur, I lived elsewhere, and he believed he needed a partner from his hometown.”
Vicky also added and said, “She didn’t let me speak only but I feel that there should be a right time, and at that time, Ankita was in a state of mind where she wanted to get married, and I was in a state of mind where I wanted to get married, and at that time, we met”.

In 2019, Ankita revealed her partnership with Vicky. Their wedding took place on December 14, 2021, in Mumbai. The two participated in the dance show Smart Jodi and rose as the winners. They later entered Bigg Boss 17 together, and Ankita and Vicky garnered attention for their numerous altercations and disputes.
Throughout their time on the show, the couple faced various challenges in their relationship, attracting scrutiny and criticism. On several occasions, the couple had been in the headlines for their rumored pregnancy. For the unversed, prior to Vicky, Ankita initially dated her Pavitra Rishta co-star Sushant Singh Rajput.
