Asit Kummar Modi, the producer of the serial, has been successfully running this serial for the last 15 years. After this Boycott TMKOC scene, he clarified the entire scenario. According to his statement, makers are not fooling audiences, and there will be a new track soon.
He said, “Only due to certain circumstances, we are unable to bring Daya’s character back on time. But, that does not mean that the character is not going to enter the show at all! Whether it is Disha Vakani or someone else, the time will tell. But it’s my promise to the audience that Daya will be back, and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is going nowhere.”
His words have made the audience calm for the moment.

In some recent episodes of TMKOC, the story revolved around Dayaben’s return. It’s been very long since Dayaben, played by Disha Vakani, left the show because of her pregnancy, and since then, this actress hasn’t come yet. Daya and Jethalal are two very famous characters in TMKOC; we can say that the whole TRP of the show depends on these two legends. There is a huge fan following for Daya and Jethalal, and you can see a lot of memes going viral on social media for these two. In such a scenario, the story the makers brought to the recent episode wasn’t really true. Dayaben hasn’t really popped up in the show, and that is the reason people said that if Dayaben isn’t coming, they will boycott the show.
