Karan Johar is back with the 8th season of his popular celebrity chat show, Koffee With Karan. And ever since the announcement of the 8th season of the show, rumors about the expected guest list have been going around. As per the latest reports, it is now claimed that actors Kartik Aaryan and Kangana Ranaut, known for not being on “friendly” terms with Karan Johar, have been invited for the show for the upcoming season.
A source confirmed to News18 Showsha that Bollywood actors Kartik Aaryan and Kangana Ranaut have been approached and invited for the 8th season of the chat show. The source claimed that while the chances of Kangana appearing on the show are “slim”, Karik Aaryan on the other hand will most likely appear on the show this year.
The source also revealed that there is still no clarity as to who Kartik will come with however, he will be seen on the chat show this year, for the second time after making his debut in 6th season. It is also believed that both Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan have decided to sort out their differences and the two might be seen addressing their alleged “tiff” on the show this year.
For the unversed, Kartik Aaryan was rumored of having a fallout with the filmmaker after he was reportedly ousted from ‘Dostana 2’ in which he was cast opposite Jhanvi Kapoor. As per the media reports, Karan had removed Kartik from the film because of his unprofessional behavior. The reports also suggested that he had an ugly fight with co-star Janhvi Kapoor because of which their friendship ended in January and they both are not on talking terms. However, there was no official confirmation about the same.
On the other hand, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s relationship with filmmaker Karan Johar is nothing new to the industry. The two have locked horns on several occasions and leave no opportunity to slam and take digs at each other.
