The film opened up to positive reviews and reactions from the netizens and audience, however, it failed to score an impressive opening at the box office. As per the latest reports the digital rights of the dystopian action film have been sold to an OTT streaming giant.

Meanwhile, as per the latest reports the “digital rights” of the Bollywood action film have been sold to streaming giant, Netflix according to OTT Play.

Made on a budget of approx. ₹200 crore, Kriti Sanon and Tiger Shroff starrer Ganapath recorded the lowest opening at the box office. The dystopian action film reportedly earned “Rs 2.50 crore” on its opening day in India. Ganapath faced tough competition with Tamil film, Leo. Ganapath was released alongside, Divya Khosla Kumar’s ‘Yaariyan 2’ and Telugu action film “Tiger Nageswara Rao” starring Ravi Teja and Nupur Sanon.

Ganapath is a Bollywood dystopian action film written and directed by Vikas Bahl, who also produced the film in association with Jackky Bhagnani. The film features the Heropanti duo Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon alongside Amitabh Bachchan. The film was released in theatres on 20th October.
