The OTT platform announced the arrival of some highly-anticipated and much-awaited web series and films, one of which is “Bandish Bandits 2”. Bandish Bandits is a series set in the royal haveli of Jodhpur, exploring the dynamics of patriarchal hierarchy through the lives of its characters. The story revolves around Pandit Ji (Naseeruddin Shah), the authoritative figure of the household, and his family members who navigate their roles and aspirations within his shadow.

The arrival of Radhe (Ritwik Bhowmik), a young musician, and his romance with pop sensation Tamanna (Shreya Chaudhary), adds layers of complexity to the narrative. As Radhe adjusts to life within the family, tensions arise among Pandit ji’s sons Digvijay, Rajendra, and Devendra, and their wives Mohini and Avantika, reflecting the clash between tradition and modernity, masculinity and femininity. The series delves into themes of oppression, familial obligations, and the quest for validation within a patriarchal structure, all set against the backdrop of Indian classical music.
