Will Smith Kids Share Concerns For Their Father Over Recent Marriage Revelations

Willow and Jaden Smith reportedly "feel bad for their dad" after mum Jada Pinkett Smith's revelations about their relationship, and they wish some things "remained private".

Willow and Jaden Smith reportedly “feel sympathy for their father” and wish that some matters “had remained private.” The two young stars, whose parents are Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, are said to regret that certain aspects of their family life have become public after their mother revealed some shocking revelations, including her and Will’s separation seven years ago, while promoting her new memoir ‘Worthy.’

An insider told ‘Entertainment Tonight’ that Willow, 22, and Jaden, 25, “empathize with their father amidst recent headlines about their parents.” The source added, “They are aware that he has been going through a lot lately, and this isn’t making it any easier. They wish that certain family matters had remained confidential.”

Meanwhile, the insider mentioned that the 55-year-old actor, who also has a son, Trey Smith, with his ex-wife Sheree Zampino, is “keeping busy and spending time with his close friends and his children.”

The source continued, “He’s determined not to let external noise affect him. Will loves Jada and feels that he has always supported her and always will. He’s trying to be supportive while also taking care of himself.”

Jada, 52, created a stir last week when she disclosed that she and the ‘King Richard’ actor had been living separately for the past seven years. However, she now asserts that they are dedicated to rebuilding their “life partnership” and are focusing on healing.

Speaking on ‘Today’ on Monday (16.10.23), she said, “We are putting in significant effort to rebuild our relationship, to return it to a marriage. A husband-wife marriage is crucial for my healing process. I came into this with very specific ideals, which were essentially barriers. I needed to see Will as the person he truly is and not an idealized husband. He must accept me for the person I am, and we want to love each other for who we are.”

The ‘Red Table Talk’ host has also explained that she is not currently living with her estranged husband but anticipates that they will live together again in the future to care for him. She told the Sunday Times magazine, “To be honest with you, I think eventually we will [live together again]. I really do. Will is getting older, and I’m staying quite young, but it’s becoming clear to me that he’s going to need someone to look after him.”
