Get ready to pull off the biggest heist with The Professor and the Dali Mask gang but this time in Korea.

Heist lovers don’t have to wait for much longer to witness the greatest heist again! Netflix released the first look teaser of the much-awaited remake on Tuesday. Netflix also reveals the entire cast of robbers along with the mastermind of the Heist and the head of the interrogation. The trailer starts with the actor-model and filmmaker Yoo Ji-tae who plays the mastermind, The Professor which was originally portrayed by Álvaro Morte.

Yoo Ji-tae was seen in his hideout room, as several masks are hung on the wall. The Professor goes and picks one which happens to be a Salvador Dali mask, one of the major symbols and part of the attire used by the robbers. For unversed, Yoo Ji-tae is a well-known name in Korea, as he is a part of projects like Seven Days, Ode to My Father, Lost, and Mistresses.

The trailer also shows actor Kim Yunjin as Woojin from the Task Force Team handling the interrogation team of the heist, reminding us of Raquel Murillo from the Spanish version of Money Heist. She is looking busy at work inside her interrogation tent and looks as fiery as Spanish actress Itziar Ituno. The trailer then comes with the title ‘Money Heist: Korea’, as others from the central cast, are revealed.

Meanwhile, talking about the other member of the heist, Jun Jong Seo will star as Tokyo, Kim Ji Hoon will play Denver’s part. Jang Yoon Ju will be seen as Nairobi, Lee Hyun Woo as Rio, among others like Lee Won Jong as Moscow, Kim Ji Hun as Helsinki and Lee Kyu Ho will play the character of Oslo. Netflix has announced the Korean adaptation of its blockbuster Spanish series in April 2021.

However, actor Park Hae Soo, known for the success of Squid Game will get into the new shoes of one of Money Heist’s most prominent and beloved characters, Berlin. Park had appeared in a teaser last month, on the sidelines of Netflix’s fan event. Meanwhile, during an interview with The Swoon, he called original actor Pedro Alonso’s version of Berlin more ‘chic and cold-blooded’. Park revealed that in the K-drama ‘fans will get to see a more human version of Berlin.’

The official synopsis of the Korean version of Money Heist reads, “Disguised under the shadows of a mask, a crew of desperados band together under the leadership of a criminal mastermind known only as ‘The Professor’ to pull off the biggest heist Korea has ever seen. Trust the professor. Choose your city name. Don your masks. It’s time.”
