The latest update reveals that the death certificate has listed the cause of death as deferred, citing pending toxicology reports and ongoing investigation. The autopsy, however, has been completed, according to information obtained by The Blast. At the time of his untimely death, Perry was 54 years old.

It is noteworthy that Perry had previously expressed his desire to create a movie about his life. His friend, Athenna Crosby, shared in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada that Perry specifically envisioned Zac Efron portraying his younger self. Perry had worked with Efron in the past and had plans to approach him for the role.
As the news of Perry’s passing continues to reverberate, it has been reported that his Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston is facing significant emotional distress. Page Six reports that Aniston is “struggling most acutely,” especially considering the close proximity of Perry’s passing to the one-year anniversary of her father’s death.
