Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck got engaged last month, 18 years after they called off their previous engagement back in January 2004. And recently, the Marry Me actress relived those days as she shared an old video alongside Ben Affleck on Mother’s Day. The actress posted the clip in which the loved-up couple sat courtside at a basketball game and could be heard wishing their mothers well on the day all about them.
Meanwhile, the announcer of the game can be heard saying, “Hollywood’s hottest couple, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez.” In the video, Affleck wore a green t-shirt with long white sleeves while Lopez donned an open white blouse. Alongside the video, the Marry Me actress penned in the caption, “Happy Mother’s Day to all the mommy’s out there!!!” while adding pink hearts emoji.
Lopez’s Mother’s Day post came just a day after she and Affleck continued house hunting in Los Angeles. The couple spent much of their Saturday exploring a spectacular $68 million dollar mansion in Los Angeles. The Selena star and the Justice League actor have been looking for a home together since early April. This house they visited has plenty of room for their blended family.
Jennifer is the mother to twins Emme and Max. Ben’s the dad to three, Violet, Seraphina, and Sam. Ben and Jennifer first started dating in 2002 after meeting on the set of Gigli. They soon became engaged and were set to get married in September 2003, but postponed their wedding and eventually broke up in January 2004. The stars married and had families with other people after they separated. Lopez was married to Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2014 while Affleck was connected to Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018.
Meanwhile, last year in April, the lovebirds rekindled their romance. The couple’s relationship came as a shock to fans, heating up again nearly 17 years after their failed engagement. And recently, Jennifer Lopez revealed that she is engaged to beau Ben Affleck. The actress and singer shared a video of herself crying and looking at her engagement ring on her official website.
