Jennifer Aniston Reacts To David Schwimmer Dating Rumours With, Calls Them ‘bizarre’

Jennifer Aniston recently opened up about the buzzing rumors around her dating speculations with her Friends' co-star, David Schwimmer.

As Jennifer Aniston and her former co-star David Schwimmer’s dating rumors once again sparked the internet after they appeared together on Friends: The Reunion, Aniston recently reacted to them in her latest interview with Entertainment Tonight. Actress Jennifer Aniston has debunked all ongoing rumors of dating David and termed it ‘bizarre’.

Jennifer Aniston, who played Rachel Green on the popular sitcom Friends shut down the rumors saying that she could not believe it but also stated that she realised how people were hopeful for fantasies. However, Aniston knows that fans of the show would love for it to happen one day. A source had told Closer in August that the co-stars had reconnected after the Friends Reunion. They had also admitted that they had a crush on each other during the initial filming of Friends. The source had also said that Schwimmer flew from Los Angeles to New York to spend time with Aniston.

Speaking about the fueling rumors of dating her co-star David Schwimmer, who essayed Ross Geller, Aniston expressed her shock by saying, “That was bizarre. I could not believe that, actually. Like, really? That’s my brother.” She further mentioned that she understands the rumors because they depicted how hopeful people were for fantasies, for dreams to come true.”

The rumors first sparked when David Schwimmer admitted that he had a major crush on Jennifer Aniston during the first season of filming Friends: The Reunion. Even Aniston reacted to his comment saying that it was reciprocated. David further stated about their bond during the show and said, “At some point, we were both crushing hard on each other”. He added, “But it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary and we both respected that.” Although, Jennifer Aniston said that she remembered telling David that it would be a bummer if their first kiss would actually be on national television.

Jennifer Aniston recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live. She opened up on the show that she will not be attending the 73rd Emmy Awards despite her nominations for the Friends: The Reunion. She said that she will be skipping out on the Emmys this year. She also mentioned that it was just the baby steps.

Jennifer Aniston is currently gearing up for the release of the second season of her show, The Morning Show, which is expected to premiere on 17 September 2021.
