Is Jennie The Leader Of BLACKPINK? Here’s The Truth!

Blackpink has no leader because their company wants them to grow and support each other without having any leader.

Bold, classy, glamorous, and super talented, this is Blackpink, the Korean pop girls group with whom the whole globe is obsessed. The group does not have a leader, which is quite unusual compared to the rest of the K-pop group. Rumours used to say that Jennie is the leader of Blackpink. But no, Blackpink doesn’t have a leader. Their reason for that is that they all step up as leaders in different situations.

Blackpink has no leader because their company wants them to grow and support each other without having any leader. Jennie was the first member of Blackpink, and she is always seen taking care of the important things like leaders do. That is why Jennie is sometimes regarded as their “leader” by neitizens. And it is never necessary that the unnie of the group always become the leader. So the company always chooses the responsible and more experienced person to handle the group’s stuff, like Jisoo, who is the mom of the group and takes care of members; Jennie, who is the responsible member of the group, always takes care of the group’s work and important things regarding their group.

Lisa also explained the same. Once, Blackpink members appeared on a well-liked South Korean variety show called Knowing Brother to promote their album, Blackpink The Album.

When the host of the show asked who is the leader of the group, Lisa reacted and said that the group does not have a leader and that each other plays a significant role in maintaining the unity of the group. She further explained that everyone in the group is good at something, so everyone takes responsibility for different things.
