Fans Demand Justice For Johnny Depp After ex-wife Amber Heard Assault

Fans are demanding ‘Justice for Johnny Depp’ with hashtag ‘#JusticeforJohnnyDepp’ on Twitter after ex-wife Amber Heard allegedly admitted to domestic abuse towards him.

Fans are enraged and are demanding justice for their idol Edward Scissorhands actor Johnny Depp after his ex-wife Amber Heard reportedly admitted to hitting him and throwing objects at him in a leaked audio tape, on the other hand, Heard has put an allegation of ‘domestic abuse’ on Depp.

A leading news portal leaked an audio confession in which Heard admits to hitting Depp with pans, pots and vases during a couples therapy session in back in 2015 while they were trying to save their marriage.

“I’m sorry that I didn’t, uh, uh, hit you across the face in a proper slap, but I was hitting you, it was not punching you. Babe, you’re not punched,” Heard explains to Depp explaining her violence from the previous night.

The audio goes on for about two hours in which Amber is heard telling Johnny to “grow the f*ck up” and “just because I’ve thrown pots and pans does not mean you cannot come and knock on my door,” to which fans pointed out the irony that Heard is an advocate for women’s rights and domestic violence survivors

The Charlie and the Chocolate Factory actor recalls the last three times their fights got physical in the previous months and says, “We have to be apart from one another…so that we don’t f*cking kill each other or f*cking worse, you know, f*cking really kill each other or f*cking breakup or whatever.”

Heard criticizes  Depp for leaving their house after arguments and even tells the Pirates of the Carribean star “I can’t promise you I won’t get physical again. God I f*cking sometimes I get so mad I lose it.”

Depp and Heard’s marriage begun in 2015. However, they separated only one year later. Heard even got a restraining order along with a divorce. The former couple finalized their divorce and mutually agreed that “there was never any intent of physical or emotional harm, however Heard wrote a Washington Post op-ed in 2018 talking about her experience as a domestic abuse victim without explicitly naming the actor. Depp still sued Heard for defamation for $50 million that is still an on-going case.

Heard and Depp filed cases against each other against one another’s “abuse” with evidence like graphic pictures of cuts, bruises, and in Heard’s case, hair supposedly ripped from her head.

As soon as the audio of the therapy session leaked, fans started trending the hashtag ‘JusticeForJohnnyDepp’ on Twitter on Saturday.

British comedian Jonathan Pie joined in tweeting, “I hope those who instantly assumed Johnny Depp was guilty and made public comments to that effect are feeling fairly shit about all this now.”

The defamation trial against Amber Heard was due on Monday and the audio leaked around the same time causing some to think Depp’s team leaked the audio to get the public on his side. However, it has now been postponed to August.

Depp’s attorney, Adam Waldman, revealed to a news portal, “These tapes containing Amber Heard’s chilling confessions of violence further expose and destroy her abuse hoax.” While Heard’s spokespersons said that “This is nothing more than the latest misogynistic effort at victim-blaming.”
