Her Netflix Movie is titled as “Christmas On The Square”. Taking to her social media twitter handle, Dolly revealed and announced that her film would be releasing on 22nd November 2020 on Netflix. This film is being released as an early christmas celebration movie.
Dolly Parton is all set as she features in the upcoming Netflix movie. She herself confirmed this recent news by her official tweet on her Twitter account.
Her tweet read, “#ChristmasOnTheSquare is more than just a song…it’s also a musical! Watch my newest movie directed by @msdebbieallen and starring Christine Baranski, @JeniferLewis, and so many other talented folks, November 22 on @netflixfamily”.
According to the official synopsis and story description for Christmas On The Square shared by Netflix, the movie is about a resentful “Scrooge” of a woman. This woman makes up her mind by planning to sell off a small town that she owns.
She does not care what happens to the people who live there and is willing to deal with the consequences. Dolly Parton will be seen playing the main lead role in the film. ‘Christmas On The Square’ is written by Maria S. Schlatter.
That’s just not all as Dolly Parton is planning to make this Christmas 2020 a very sweet, extra special and a memorable heartwarming event for all her fans, the audiences and also the critics who have waited for this legendary actor to come on the celluloid again.
