On Sunday American DJ Diplo set the stage on fire with his powerful performance but what also caught everyone’s eye was how Diplo wore a black t-shirt with Aishwarya Rai’s name and picture printed on it. DJ Diplo gave a fantastic and powerful 90-minute performance on the final day of the global musical festival Lollapalooza in Mumbai.
The two-day music global festival Lollapalooza kickstarted on Saturday and several artists like Imagine Dragons, AP Dhillon, and others took over the stage with their fantastic performances on day one. and on the second day DJ Diplo, Rock band The Strokes, Jackson Wang, and Divine amongst others were seen amping up the mood.
DJ Diplo, who has collaborated with Shah Rukh Khan in a PHURRR song in Jab Harry Met Sejal, was seen making the audience groove to his hits like Where Are You Now and Lean On. Interestingly, Diplo’s t-shirt grabbed attention as it had Aishwarya’s pictures on it. fan’s and Netizens put the picture on social media and they all are praising him for his sweet gesture. One fan wrote, “I think it’s cool that he’s wearing it to a Mumbai show even if he’s just trying to pander to the audience. If I was an artist I’d probably do the same if I was traveling to different countries for shows.” Another fan wrote, “Westerners trying to appeal to Indian masses.”
Lollapalooza India was held in Mumbai at Mahalaxmi Race Course. India’s popular rapper Divine won hearts with his act. He played his hit song and also paid a tribute to the late rapper Sidhu Moose Wala by playing his one song.
