The rumors went ablaze after a female fan of the singer asked Adele to marry her during her Las Vegas concert. Replying to the same the 35-year-old singer said that she couldn’t marry the fan since she is “straight” and that her “husband” was attending the concert too.
Adele said, “You can’t marry me, I am straight my love and my husband is here tonight.” The female fan further insisted the singer consider marrying her to which Adele called the female fan crazy and asked her to leave her alone since she was already in a relationship with Rich Paul.
The singer’s statement stirred up rumors about her alleged “secret marriage” with her long-term boyfriend, Rich Paul. A segment of netizens speculated that the singer might have secretly gotten married to her boyfriend, Rich Paul, and that she mentioned him as her “husband” during the concert in Las Vegas.

For the unversed, Adele announced her relationship with her boyfriend, Rich Paul July 2021, after the duo were spotted together at the NBA Finals. Talking about her relationship with Rich Paul, Adele earlier told Vogue that she and Rich Paul started off as friends for some time before getting into a relationship in 2021.
On the other hand, before getting into a relationship with Rich Paul, Adele was previously married to Simon Konecki in 2018, before getting married the two welcomed their son, Angelo, in 2012.
