Dakota Johnson OPENS UP About Her Struggle To Stay Positive Amid The COVID-19 Crises

Dakota Johnson is among the renowned celebrities of Hollywood and enjoys a massive fan following. But underneath that stardom and camera flashes, she struggles with mental health. Recently in an interaction, Dakota revealed that she has struggled with depression and anxiety since she was a 15-year old. And currently, amid the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, the actress confessed that she is finding it hard to stay positive while dealing with depression during the lockdown.

Just like everyone else in the world dealing with the pandemic, Johnson put an end to her social life to practice social distancing, and staying at home is not getting any easier for her. During a recent interview, the 30-year old actress said that she has been feeling lonely.

Dakota said, “You are at home, you’re not with your friends, you’re not with your family, you are not able to do the things that make you feel worthwhile.” She further added, “You’re kind of in this costume of depression but not really sure of you feel that way.” The actress also expressed that it is scary how the world is crumbling under the fear of the deadly virus.

The Fifty Shades actress added, “Right now, there’s also immense pain and sadness ricocheting around the world constantly so it’s hard to feel totally positive all day every day when the world is sad, it’s dangerous and it’s scary and it’s lonely.”

Johnson also shared certain tips to deal with the situation and what she is doing to cop up with her mental health. She said that meditation or going for a walk is working for her. She also advised her fans to ‘be kind to their body’ and such little things also make a huge difference.

Dakota is keeping herself busy throughout the day by reading a lot, watching a lot of movies, and trying to be productive and occupied.
