Hulu has recently dropped the full-length trailer for the upcoming series, The Kardashians. And in the trailer, Kim Kardashian poked fun at her many engagements. Just hours after Travis Barker proposed to her sister Kourtney Kardashian at the Rosewood Miramar, the reality star hilariously joked about her love life after their mother Kris Jenner shed happy tears for her sibling.
Kris gushed over dinner with loved ones after her future son-in-law popped the question to her eldest at sunset and said, “This makes me so happy.” However, Barker made several cameos in the preview, indicating he will be a fixture on the new show, which will hit the streaming platform on April 14. The teaser featured flashes of Kourtney looking smitten as she watched him play the drums and him sitting across from Khloé Kardashian and on-again, off-again beau, Tristan Thompson, at a lunch with his bride-to-be’s family.
Later, Kim Kardashian could be seen leaving her SNL hosting debut in a stylish hot pink outfit. Other moments in the 26-second teaser included Kendall Jenner driving Kylie Jenner around and Khloe laughing as a woman styled her hair. The trailer comes just over a year after the Kardashian-Jenners finished filming for the 20th and final season of their long-running reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Although the exact content of the show hasn’t been revealed yet, there’s plenty going on in all of the stars’ lives from which to draw storylines. 2021 proved to be an eventful year for the Kardashians-Jenner family with Kim filing for divorce from Kanye West, Kylie revealing a second pregnancy, and Khloe weathering drama with ex Tristan Thompson.
Furthermore, Kourtney became engaged to Barker after the two spent the year sharing public displays of affection, and Kim made her SNL hosting debut. The end of the year was marked by a somber period, as Kylie’s partner Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival was struck by tragedy when ten people perished at the event. Earlier this month Scott and Kylie welcomed their three-week-old son Wolf.
