Britney Spears, the iconic pop queen in the Hollywood music industry, has again made a point. She has recently taken to social media to express her views on some of the news shared by some of the renowned news publications. The Toxic singer shared a video from The Andy Griffith Show, showing a conversation between a father who stated that ‘mean’ and ‘unkind’ rumors about people should not be
spread. And the boy replies in the clip that probably nobody wants to buy the paper when nice stories are printed.
To accompany the video, the pop singer wrote a lengthy note expressing her thoughts on the subject. Britney claimed that particular news publications’ “continuous lies” put her on the verge of becoming abusive. She further stated that it is sad for her to read the lies and news about her and that it is crucial for her to feel supported and valued at this time in her life.
She wrote in the caption, “The constant lies from the media and TMZ have felt like borderline harassment … it’s extremely disturbing, due to how incredibly important it is at this time in my life to be supported and respected !!! Also, the way the news has always spread lies about me is incredibly heartbreaking !!! I meditate over hope and excitement for my future ! I have transformed my whole life with the elimination of my conservatorship, and I deserve respect !!! It’s almost embarrassing to comment on this because of how completely outrageous what’s being said is !!! It’s my right to protect myself from the cruelty of the outside world !!!
