Britney Spears Deactivated Her Instagram Account

Britney deactivated her Instagram account just a day after sharing a post where she spoke about being taken advantage of for being nice.

Britney Spears has used her Instagram almost daily to candidly express what her experience in her conservatorship was like now that it has ended, along with the years-long abuses she’s suffered, taking particular aim at her father, who managed the conservatorship. However, recently fans noticed that Spears suddenly deactivated her Instagram, with some worrying that Spears was forced to give up the account over her very honest confessions.

The move comes a day after sharing a post where she spoke about being taken advantage of for being nice. The singer had written that she would rather want to be ‘feared’ than be loved. Spears didn’t give any updates to her fans before going offline. However, the singer is taking a break from Instagram like she’s done in the past, according to Entertainment Tonight. “She previously said she’d be taking a well-deserved break as many celebrities do, that’s really it,” the source said to the outlet.

The source also discredited any conspiracy theories surrounding the pop star’s deactivation of her account, pointing to a tweet in which Britney informed fans that she was taking a break to celebrate her engagement to her fiancé, Sam Asghari. Before deactivating her Instagram account, Britney Spears shared that she wasn’t afraid of being unlikeable as she showed off some classy looks on Instagram.

The popstar recently realized how ‘being nice’ led people to take advantage of her back when she had her popular Vegas residency. The singer revealed that instead of being ‘loved,’ the songstress would much rather be ‘feared.’ Britney’s post featured snaps of her in a sizzling black sweater crop top. She paired the look with a high-waisted short black skirt with a dramatic diagonal slant highlighting her toned legs.

Along with the sizzling snaps, she penned, “The only thing I’ve known when I used to go to Vegas was hour-long meet and greets with 40 people every night getting the worst pics of me and then a two-hour show !!!!” The singer continues, “Let’s just say THIS TIME visiting it gave me a whole new perspective on what it means to live !!!!”
