Ohhhh! Barbie And Oppenheimer Break Several Box Office Records In The US And Worldwide

Barbie and Oppenheimer grossed more than $511 million worldwide and $235.5 million in the US over the weekend.

Day by day, the buzz of both Barbie and Oppenheimer films is spreading on social media over the globe. As per the most recent reports, Barbie and Oppenheimer grossed more than $511 million worldwide and $235.5 million in the US over the weekend. Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and Greta Gerwig’s Barbie are two much-awaited films of the year that were released on the same day, and the box office collections of both films are surprising everyone. 

If new reports are to be believed, in the history of Hollywood movies, these were the first two films to gross over $100 million (Barbie) and over $50 million (Oppenheimer) at the US box office. 

According to AFP reports, Barbie, in its debut weekend, made $155 million at the North American box office, and Oppenheimer also registered a great weekend with $80.5 million.

Deadline gathered a list of records that both Barbie and Oppenheimer broke this weekend. Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling starrer has already surpassed the lifetime grosses of many other female-led movies.
