Insiders suggest that the couple intentionally postponed any engagement plans over the winter holidays, aiming to avoid the perception of a hurried decision. The source also mentions that Kelce won’t be going down on one knee for Valentine’s Day, echoing the couple’s desire to prioritize a thoughtful and intentional approach.
According to the insider, Swift and Kelce have discussed their future together, and there is a concrete plan in place. The prevailing buzz hints at a potential engagement during their one-year anniversary in July.
Swift, 34, and Kelce, 34, made their first public appearance together in September when Swift attended one of Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs games at Arrowhead Stadium. However, Swift later revealed in a Time magazine Person of the Year interview that their relationship had been ongoing for a more extended period.
The couple’s journey began after Kelce shared on his “New Heights” podcast in July how he attempted (unsuccessfully) to give Swift his phone number at an Eras tour concert.
