Two psychiatrists who treated Sushant Singh Rajput have confirmed that the actor was suffering from chronic depression and didn’t take his mental health seriously. Both the doctors gave their statements to the investigation authorities. They told that it was getting very difficult to treat him because he had stopped taking his medicines.
Revelation by Sushant’s psychiatrists:
The statement said, “Sushant used to feel that even one minute was like many days.” One of the doctors said that Sushant felt that he could never beat being bipolar and his family would suffer.
The psychiatrist told that Rhea Chakraborty messaged him on WhatsApp On June 8 and said that Sushant Singh Rajput was depressed again. He told that he sent a prescription on WhatsApp but Sushant wanted to speak to him and therefore, they connected on a video call on Rhea’s phone.
He further told, “When I asked why he did not start the medicines after telling, he only laughed and did not say anything. I asked him to regularly take medicines… Hence, I consoled him and asked Miss Rhea to see Sushant Singh Rajput is taking medicines regularly. Rhea told me that he does not listen to her and what could she do.”

The doctor says that when he asked about his fees, Rhea said that she was leaving Sushant’s house and any decision will now be taken by his sister who was coming over.
He also told that a week later he found about Sushant’s death on TV.

The doctors’ statements are crucial as the depression therory in Sushant’s case has been dubunked time and again. Sushant’s family had claimed that they were unaware of Sushant’s mental health and didn’t know aboout his treatment as well. However, the leaked chats between Sushant’s sister and manager Shruti Modi suggested that the family was aware of the medicines Sushant was taking.
