Karan Johar made a grand comeback with the latest season of ‘Koffee With Karan’ on October 26, featuring the power couple of Bollywood, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone as the inaugural guests. During their candid conversation on the show, the couple shared insights into their relationship journey, from struggles to their eventual marriage. Ranveer disclosed that he met Deepika after a breakup from a long-term relationship, dispelling longstanding rumors of his past involvement with Anushka Sharma.
However, a recent video on Reddit has gone viral in which Anushka briefly explains her reasons for not dating Ranveer Singh. She stated, “If you know Ranveer and me really well, if people get to know us really well, they realize that we’re very different people.” Anushka continued, “We have a very volatile relationship. Yeah, we can clash strongly. I’m serious; I can take his head off, and he can take mine… If we were ever in a relationship, we would want very different things from it. We have different perspectives on life. He’s very practical, and I’m entirely impractical.”
“I like him, he’s attractive, and everything,” Anushka admitted. “But, for me, a relationship can’t be frivolous. If I were to be with another man, he would need to ground me. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be a good relationship.”
While those times are in the past, Anushka has found happiness with Indian cricketer Virat Kohli. They tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Italy on December 11, 2017, in the presence of close friends and family. The couple now has a daughter named Vamika. Rumors suggest that Anushka might be expecting their second child, although she has remained tight-lipped about it, similar to her previous pregnancy.
