When Ajay Devgn Said I Am Very Lazy About Dancing

We have never seen Ajay Devgn dancing like SRK, Salman or Akshay Kumar. Because he revealed that he is really lazy about dance.

Ajay Devgn and dance are a very rare combination. He has done so many films, but when it comes to dance, you may have observed that he just does those same patent steps, or he just stands with different cinematic angles. During a candid conversation with Lehren for his film “Deewane”, he said that he is very lazy about dance.

In the film Deewane, he shared the screen with Urmila Matondkar, who is considered to be one of the most fluent dancers in the industry. When he was asked about his experience of dancing with Urmila Matondkar, he replied, “When it comes to dancing, I am very lazy about it. But when I have to do it, I do it. So it wasn’t very difficult.” But for the rest of the time, Ajay has this “Come on Dude” attitude where he almost avoids dancing. Elaborating the reason behind it, he said that, “You know some situations are somewhere which are not… you just can’t get up and dancing. So you need to be convinced that the situation is right, then you go ahead into it, otherwise you know it’s somewhere between.”

The Maidaan actor also emphasized the fact that the Qayamat song in the movie is not an item song. Ajay said, “The intention of having an item was never there into films. There was a situation where the song worked out, but it’s not an item again.” The Qayamat song speaks about love, and it is the process of Deewane’s story.

Deewane (2000) directed by Harry Baweja was a commercial film and yet it was a commercial flop. Ajay Devgn played double roles in the film: Vishal and Arun. It also marked Ajay Devgn’s transition to romantic hero from an action hero.
