Veteran Bollywood actor Shatrughan Sinha, born on July 15, 1946, is renowned for his remarkable dialogue delivery in the industry. The actor once issued a warning to those who derogatorily referred to people from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar as ‘Bhaiya.’

In an old video by Lehren, Shatrughan Sinha addressed the audience, stating that he deliberately included a dialogue in the movie “Khudgarz” as a tribute to those who are subjected to disrespectful usage of the term ‘Bhaiya.’ The dialogue goes, “Tum sala sab kutta ka jaat humko bhaiya boalta hai, are bhaiaya mat bolo, bolo baab aur e bhi deakho saraon bhaiay jab baap banta hai tu sala kaise sab ka maiya rota hai.”

The veteran actor has always spoken up when people from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar faced challenges. Previously, he criticized former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi for his controversial comment of “don’t let bhaiyas from UP, Bihar, Delhi enter here.”

While CM Charanjit Channi and Priyanka Gandhi have already provided clarifications, Shatrughan Sinha emphasized the importance of public figures being mindful of their choice of words and language. He expressed his disappointment and highlighted that the remark had not only upset him as a Bihari but had also hurt people from other states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Delhi. Shatrughan Sinha, who joined Congress after leaving BJP in 2019, shared his thoughts on the matter.

In the video, Channi can be heard saying, “Priyanka is the daughter-in-law of Punjab. She is a Punjabi. Don’t let bhaiyas from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi enter here (Punjab).”
