Gadar 2 Teaser: The much-awaited teaser of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2: The Katha Continues is finally out today. The teaser was released on the official YouTube channel of Zee Studios. And we must say, that the teaser is worth the hype.
Gadar 2 carries forward the story of Gadar. The first part was set in the time of the partition of India. Gadar 2 is set during the Indo-Pak war of 1971. Tara Singh returns to Pakistan in order to bring back his son Charanjeet. The role of Charanjeet is played by Anil Sharma’s son Utkarsh Sharma, whom we saw as a little child in Gadar.
In the teaser, Sunny Deol is introduced as “son-in-law of Pakistan.”
A woman can be heard saying in Hindi, “He is the son-in-law of Pakistan. Give him a grand welcome. Anoint him. Or this time he will hijack Lahore.” It is followed by visuals of Sunny getting into some serious action. The teaser ends with Sunny sitting alone with tears in his eyes while the song plays, “O ghar aaja pardesi.”

The teaser is receiving great love from the audience. People are happy to see the iconic film getting a sequel as it takes them back in time. A fan wrote, “Powerful TEASER, Powerful Action, Powerful BGM, Powerful Dialogue, Powerful Hero (Sunny Paji) , Powerful Release (Independenceday) & Powerful Power.”
Another comment reads, “All time blockbuster without any doubt.”
A few days ago, the makers of Gadar re-released the 2001 film Gadar:Ek Prem Katha in theatres in selected cities. Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel were spotted together attending the premiere of the film in Mumbai.

Gadar 2: The Katha Continues is directed and produced by Anil Sharma. It features Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in the lead roles. The film is releasing in theatres on 11th August. It will face a box office clash with Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2.
