Cannes 2024 Date & Venue

The 77th Cannes Film Festival is scheduled to run from May 14 to 25 at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, France. The event will showcase a diverse selection of films across various categories. Opening with Quentin Dupieux’s “The Second Act,” the festival will conclude on May 25 with the closing ceremony, where the competition winners will be announced. Led by filmmaker and actress Greta Gerwig, the jury will select the winners from 22 films competing for recognition this year.

France Télévisions in France will broadcast exclusive content from the Cannes Film Festival 2024 live, as stated on the festival’s official website. Cannes 2024 Jury Members

Greta Gerwig is the jury president this year with an eight-member jury that includes Ebru Ceylan, Lily Gladstone, Eva Green, Nadine Labaki, Juan Antonio Bayona, Pierfrancisco Favino, Kore-eda Hirokazu, and Omar Sy.

Cannes 2024 Guest List

At this year’s Cannes Film Festival, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Sobhita Dhulipala will be gracing the red carpet. Alongside them, a lineup of influencers and digital creators will make their debut, including RJ Karishma, Nancy Tyagi, Niharika, Ankush Bahuguna, Chef Sanjyot Keer, Shehzaan Khan, Aastha Shah, Viraj Gehlani, among others. Adding a musical touch to the affair, music icon King is also expected to attend.

Cannes 2024: Indian Films Nomination

Payal Kapadia’s “All We Imagine As Light” has received an official nomination for the Palme d’Or at Cannes. Additionally, Sandhya Suri’s “Santosh” will be screened in the Un Certain Regard category alongside “The Shameless.” Other Indian films to be featured at Cannes 2024 include “Sister Midnight,” “In Retreat,” “Manthan: A Cinematic Gem Reborn,” “Sunflowers Were The First To Know,” and “Kooki.”
