Vivek Agnihotri Gives Befitting Reply To Prakash Raj

At a recent event, Prakash Raj slammed The Kashmir Files and its creator, and also called it one of the 'nonsense' films.

Prakash Raj attended an event in Kerala recently, where he slammed The Kashmir Files and its creator, Vivek Agnihotri. He called it one of the ‘nonsense’ films and took a dig at the people who produced it.

Now ‘The Kashmir Files’ (2022), director, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri has responded to Prakash Raj’s criticism in a tweet, “A small, people’s film #TheKashmirFiles has given sleepless nights to #UrbanNaxals so much that one of their Pidi is troubled even after one year, calling its viewer’s barking dogs. And Mr. Andhkaar Raj, how can I get Bhaskar, she/he is all yours. Forever,” his tweet reads.

For the unversed, Prakash Raj recently spoke about the boycott culture and also criticised ‘The Kashmir Files’, during his appearance at the Mathrubhumi International Festival of Letters in Kerala.

Prakash Raj also lauded Pathaan at the event. “They wanted to ban Pathaan. It’s doing Rs 700 crore. These idiots, bigots, who wanted to ban Pathaan, did not run Modi’s film (PM Narendra Modi) for Rs 30 crore. They are just you know, just barking, won’t bite. Sound pollution only”, he said.

Based on the 1990’s exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from Kashmir, ‘The Kashmir Files’ emerged as one of the highest earning films of 2022, having earned Rs 246 crore nett.
