Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has delivered many commercial films in 8-years of his acting career. Some of them include Student Of The Year, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath Ki Dulhania and ABCD 2.
He recently starred in Coolie No. 1 alongside Sara Ali Khan. Though the film received negative reviews from the audience and critics, but Varun Dhawan earned a decent amount for working on the film.
A leading entertainment portal has revealed that Varun Dhawan was reportedly paid Rs 25 crores for Coolie No. 1. It was also reported that this has been his highest remuneration for any film so far.
If further reports are to be believed, David Dhawan was paid Rs 15 crores for directing the film and Rohit Dhawan, who worked as Associate director was paid Rs 7 crores.
If the figures are right, then the Dhawan family earned a total of Rs 47 crores for the film which even failed to impress the audience. Well, the reason being that the film got a deal on Amazon Prime Video after theatres were shut down during the lockdown and also because Varun Dhawan has maintained a good career graph.
