Varun Dhawan Teams Up With Stree Director Amar Kaushik For A Comedy Venture?

Reports state that Varun Dhawan is going to team up with Stree director Amar Kaushik for a ‘game-changer’ comedy. Read below to know more.

Even in the midst of the nationwide lockdown which has forced the Bollywood industry to shut down Varun Dhawan is still making it to the headlines. Even when several projects have to come to a standstill Varun has been hogging the limelight for likely collaborations with several directors.

Amongst the many rumours there was one rumour which stated that Varun Dhawan has been approached for Atlee’s Theri remake that maybe backed by Varun’s close friend and mentor Karan Johar. Now the rumours are floating about a possible collaborative venture between Stree director Amar Kaushik and Varun Dhawan. The director is planning for a game-changer comedy film and there’s no doubt he has thought of Varun as his comic timings is very apt.

A source close to the filmmaker hinted about the possible collaboration between Amar Kaushik and Varun Dhawan. The source revealed, “Varun and Amar have been discussing multiple films for collaboration for a while now and they have finally zeroed down on an idea. Amar is currently developing it further and will have a bound script ready in a couple of months’ time. Varun and his filmmaker-father, David are both excited about the subject and believe that it would be a game-changer in the comic space.”

It will be interesting to see what gem Varun and Amar might create, given to the work Amar did with Stree alongside Rajkumar Rao.

On the work front, Varun Dhawan will be next seen in David Dhawan’s Coolie No. 1 alongside Sara Ali Khan. The was slated to release on 1st May but now the release date has been postponed owing to the nationwide lockdown because of the novel coronavirus outbreak.

Post Coolie No.1, Varun will be seen in Shashank Khaitan’s Mr. Lele but meanwhile, the film ha been put on back burner because of the production issues.
