March 2024 marked the release of several much-anticipated and highly-awaited films like “Crew”, “Shaitaan”, “Yodha” and others. Meanwhile, several other films like “Maidaan”, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan”, and “Do Aur Do Pyaar” among other films are lined up for release in April 2024. JNU: Jahangir National University (April 5)
Written and directed by Vinay Sharma, this movie is slated for theatrical release on April 5th. It stars Siddharth Bodke, Urvashi Rautela, Piyush Mishra, Ravi Kishan, Vijay Raaz, Rashmi Desai, Atul Pandey, and Sonnalli Seygall. Presented by Mahakaal Movies and produced by Pratima Datta.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (April 10)
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is a highly-anticipated Bollywood film starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff alongside Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F. The action-thriller will hit the theatres on the occasion of EID.
Maidaan (April 10)
Meanwhile, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan won’t be the only film releasing in theatres this EID. Akshay Kumar’s film will be facing a direct clash with Ajay Devgn’s film, “Maidaan”. In the film, Ajay Devgn portrays a football coach under the direction of Boney Kapoor. The film delves into the life of Syed Abdul Rahim, who elevated India’s football reputation.
Amar Singh Chamkila (April 12)
Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film, set to release on Netflix, features Parineeti Chopra as Amarjot in the biopic of the late Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila. Starring alongside Diljit Dosanjh, who plays the titular role, the movie depicts the life of the renowned singer, culminating in his tragic death in 1988 alongside his wife Amarjot. “Amar Singh Chamkila” will premiere on Netflix.
Do Aur Do Pyaar (April 19)
The upcoming film features Vidya Balan and Ileana D’Cruz. The teaser offers a glimpse into modern relationships with a mix of romance, humor, and relatable storytelling. Directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta, “Do Aur Do Pyaar” follows the characters’ attempts to reignite passion and excitement in their marriages through movie dates and trips. The film hits theaters on April 19 this year.
Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 (April 19)
The producers of the upcoming drama film have released a captivating new motion poster, shedding light on love in both the real and digital worlds. Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and directed by Dibakar Banerjee, “LSD 2” is set to premiere in theaters on April 19.
Ruslaan (April 26)
Directed by Karan L Butani, the upcoming action thriller film “Ruslaan” features Aayush Sharma and Sushrii Mishraa in the lead roles. Alongside Aayush, the movie also stars actor Jagapathi Babu. “Ruslaan” is scheduled to release in theaters on April 26.
