Bollywood’s best romantic actor, Shah Rukh Khan, has kept his on-screen romance live till date. There might be many chocolate heroes today, but no one can portray a romantic character better than him. Shah Rukh has worked with many actresses, may it be Kajol, Rani Mukherji, Juhi Chawla, Urmila Matondkar, Divya Bharti, Shilpa Shetty, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma etc. He also shared the screen with one of the gorgeous actresses, Pooja Bhatt, in the film ‘Chaahat’ directed by Mahesh Bhatt. The movie, based on a love triangle, also cast Ramya Krishnan in a prominent role alongside Shah Rukh and Pooja. But Tumne Dikhaye Aise Sapne song only features King Khan and Pooja Bhatt. Shah Rukh portrayed the character of Roop who dressed up in white kurta with white dhoti and a Modi jacket but without buttons, while Pooja wore a full sleeves Anarkali suit of corn and Dijon colours’ combination. Pooja Bhatt narrated the sole of the song. She outlined the song saying, “It’s kind of imagination in real time.” The song was about the female lead who likes the protagonist of the movie and then how she constantly thinks about him and imagines him with her every time.
This on-location shoot took place at night. Gauri Khan also accompanied Shah Rukh on the set. But seems unbothered by what’s going on in the shoot and engrossed in her work. Watch this exclusive rare footage of an on-location shoot from the movie Chahat released in 1996.
