Double XL headlined by Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi slated to release on 14th October will now hit the theaters on a different date. Ever since the teaser was released the movie has been in the news and it has now got a new release date. The slice-of-life comedy-drama that was supposed to release this will now release a month later.
Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi Starrer Double XL will now release on 4th November. The comedy-drama will clash with Katrina Kaif’s Phone Bhoot. Earlier it was going to clash with Ayushmann Khurrana’s Doctor G and Parineeti Chopra’s Code Name: Tiranga.
The upcoming movie Double XL pokes fun at boys who body shame. It talks about subjects like obsession with body weight and female body image issues. Double XL has a quirky take on bodyweight stereotypes that have been tormenting for a long time in our society. It is a story of two plus-size women who moved to UK from India and gorgeously flaunt their oversized body that is not usually accepted by society.
Makers have unveiled the first motion poster introducing Sonakshi Sinha as Saira Khanna. The actress shared the poster on her social media account. The caption read, “Meet Saira Khanna ??♀️They say she cannot be a fashion designer. They say she is too BIG for her own clothes… but guess what! Her dreams are BIGGER and she’s out to achieve them! #DoubleXL in CINEMAS near you on ?4th Nov 2022?”
Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi underwent a massive body transformation and gained some extra pounds to give life and originality to their characters. The two are joined by Zaheer Iqbal and Mahat Raghavendra.
Double XL is directed by Satramm Ramani and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vipul D Shah, Rajesh Bahl, Ashwin Varde, Saqib Saleem, Huma Qureshi, and Mudassar Aziz. It is presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, Wakaoo Films & Mudassar Aziz in association with T-Series Films. The film is a Wakaoo Films, Elemen3 Entertainment & Reclining Seats Cinema Production. Double XL is set to open in cinemas on 4th November 2022.
