Sobhita Dhulipala rose to fame owing to her versatility and credible acting skills. The actress recently featured in Netflix’s Ghost Stories and gained praise for the portrayal of her character in the show.

The actress had three films in her kitty before the B-Town industry came to a sudden halt due to the coronavirus outbreak in the nation. The sudden pause forced the makers to halt the shooting of films and reschedule the whole shoot. Sobhita too is the victim of the same.

She said, “I was shooting three projects and the plan was to finish them, so that by the month of May I could start shooting ‘Made In Heaven’ season 2. But now everything is on hold. I was shooting for the Telugu-Hindi bilingual ‘Major’ with Mahesh Babu. In fact, Mahesh Babu is also producing the film. We were shooting our Hyderabad schedule but we had to stop due to the outbreak of COVID-19. I am part of Mani (Ratnam) sir’s upcoming film and that shooting is also stopped now. I am also working on a film called ‘Sitara’ produced by RSVP. We shot a small schedule in Mumbai. We were supposed to do a schedule in Kerala next. That has also stopped. I had a release of a Malayalam film ‘Kurup’ opposite Dulqure Salman. We have to reschedule the release of the film now.”

The actress also mentioned that she initially felt restless over what happened so suddenly, as she had planned everything and had a flowchart prepared for herself as an actor. She then said that as an artist all such things affect her emotionally but now she is not fighting it anymore. She is currently consoling herself that this too shall pass so that she won’t feel anxious for not being productive.

Amidst the lockdown, Sobhita is taking care of her body and mind while evaluating her decisions and putting them into retrospect. She also revealed that being an avid reader she is reading books these days and has started to cook after almost 3 years.
