Shilpa Shetty opted for Ganpati Visarjan at her home this year. She and her family immersed the eco-friendly idol of Lord Ganesha in a water-filled tub at home.
Shilpa, her husband Raj Kundra, son Viaan and mother-in-law twinned in Yellow attire for the occasion.
Bidding goodbye to Bappa this year, Shilpa Shetty wrote on Twitter, “Saying goodbye is always the hardest, especially when Gannu Raja is on His way home. Although it’s a rather quiet farewell this year… we’re sending Him only with a promise that He’ll be back next year with better times.”
Ganpati Visarjan 2020
The celebrations of Ganpati Visarjan have been quite different this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Bollywood celebs like Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan and Shraddha Kapoor were also seen adopting this new way of Immersion of Lord Ganesha’s idol. All of them kept the celebration low-key and did the Visarjan at their respective homes by using a tub of water.
They have also encouraged people to adopt eco-friendly ways.

Salman Khan visited his brother Sohail Khan’s residence. He was accompanied by rumored girlfriend Iulia Vantur. Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Sharma and Arpita Sharma also marked their presence as the Khan family bid adieu to Bappa.
On the other hand, Hrithik Roshan did the Visarjan at this gym area. His mother Pinkie Roshan shared beautiful pictures on Instagram in which Hrithik, along with ex-wife Sussanne Khan, sons Hridhaan and Hrehaan, father Rakesh Roshan and mother Pinkie Roshan were seen coming together for the Visarjan.
Pinkie wrote on Instagram, “Family . Love . And my sweetest lord Ganesha . Thank you for always protecting us from evil.”
