Shah Rukh Khan Joins Ambani’s Ganpati Celebration With Family, Faces Online Criticism: ‘Kuchh To Sharam Karo Shirk Kar Rahe Ho’

Pictures And Videos From The Celebration Quickly Went Viral, Capturing Moments Of SRK Tightly Hugging Nita Ambani

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, riding high on the success of his blockbuster movie “Jawan,” was spotted at Nita and Mukesh Ambani’s Ganpati celebration. The actor attended the event in the company of his son AbRam, wife Gauri, and daughter Suhana Khan.

Pictures and videos from the celebration quickly went viral, capturing moments of SRK tightly hugging Nita Ambani and participating in the pooja rituals. However, the actor’s involvement in the religious rituals sparked criticism from some social media users.

One user commented, “Are @iamsrk kuchh to sharam karo shirk kar rahe ho jisko khuda kabhi maaf nhi karega” (Have some shame, SRK, you are indulging in idolatry, which God will never forgive).

Another user wrote, “Allah hidayat de marne se pehlee” (May Allah grant you guidance before it’s too late).

A third user expressed a perspective on interfaith participation, saying, “Participation in a festival is totally good but performing the rituals is not ok… it’s like all other religions greet us on Eid and enjoy the food but they don’t offer the Eid prayers…simple…”

A fourth user criticized SRK, saying, “Acting or filme krne tk to thik tha srk shayd mafi ho bhi jati tumhari mgr tum ne to shirk krdiya yr phle tirupati fr yaha or kaha kaha dikhoge yr” (It was fine until you acted in movies, SRK, maybe you could have been forgiven, but now you have committed idolatry, first Tirupati, and now this, where else will you be seen?).

Shah Rukh Khan is not the first actor to face such criticism related to religious activities. Recently, actor Salman Khan also received backlash for sharing a video of himself performing aarti and chanting “Ganpati Bappa Morya.”

Meanwhile, SRK’s “Jawan” has been a phenomenal success, breaking records and grossing over Rs 500 crore at the Indian box office, with numbers continuing to rise.
