Fans of Bollywood actor Salman Khan are quite excited about his much-awaited film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which is going to knock on theatre doors on this Eid. He is known for his no-nonsense attitude and his blunt statements. We all know that Salman does not live in the media, but when he says something, it is to agree with his point. Recently, Bhaijaan attended the Filmfare press conference, where he talked about obscene language, vulgar scenes, and violent content happening on OTT platforms. He explained how there is no censorship in the content produced for streaming services that are easily accessible to children.
The Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan actor said that it would be better if the filmmakers produced clean content, when everything is available on the internet. The younger generation has access to everything due to social media and can be easily influenced. Through social media, the young generation can have access to everything and easy influence.
Salman said to ABP News, “Sabkuch phone pe aa gya hai. Ab 15-16 sal ka bacha dekh sakte hai. Apko acha lagega apki choti se beti ye sab dekhe padne ke bahane. I just think the content should be checked for OTT. Jitna clean hoga content, utna acha hoga, utna uski viewership zyada hogi.”
The lines between what can and cannot be shown in shows or movies are becoming increasingly blurred, he said. While living in India, hinting at love scenes with minimal scenes that give off the gist of what’s about to happen rather than showing the entire thing, is sufficient. He went on to say that, while such content was on the rise a few years ago, filmmakers have now begun to control and monitor what they are putting out there.
