The audience will soon witness great actors Saanand Verma and Ashnoor Kaur together in a short film titled ‘Swad’. Directed by Sachin Gupta, Swad will be a part of an anthology that will be released on a leading OTT platform.
In an exclusive interview with Lehren, Saanand shared his experience of working with Ashnoor Kaur. He said, “Ashnoor is fantastic. As the film’s name suggests, it shows the various slices of life. It is a very sweet and interesting film. You will see us both in a very different avatar. I am very excited and looking forward to its release.”
When asked about the details, Saanand said, “Ashnoor is playing the role of a big film actress named Raima. I am playing the role of a struggling actor who gives 10 auditions a day. She is my dream co-actress and I am dying to work with her. By a chance, I get to work with her for a small scene. What happens next will be worth a watch.”
Talking about Ashnoor Kaur, the young actor has cleared her class 12th exams this year. She has scored 94% in CBSE Class 12th exams. Talking about her results, she said, “It feels great. I feel nice and accomplished. I scored 93% in 10th and hence I thought I should get more than that. I didn’t even take up new projects as I wanted to concentrate on my studies. So it has finally paid off.”
On the other hand, Saanand is awaiting the release of another film titled ‘India Lockdown’. It is also an anthology directed by Madhur Bhandarkar and showcases 6 stories around the lockdown due to Covid-19. He is also entertaining everyone with his role of Anokhelal Saxena in &TV’s popular sitcom ‘Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai!’
