Ranveer Singh Writes Heartfelt Note As 83 Movie Trailer Gets Appreciation

Ranveer Singh is filled with happiness and gratitude as the trailer of his upcoming film ’83’ receives love and appreciation from everyone. The makers had dropped the trailer yesterday, and needless to say, it won our hearts.

Ranveer Singh, who plays Kapil Dev in the film has penned a heartfelt note on social media as 83 movie trailer is well-received by fans, friends and critics.

He wrote, “Thank you to movie fans all over the country and beyond, our film fraternity, the press…people from all walks of life and generations have appreciated the movie’s trailer, and we are filled with gratitude and gladness.”

Mentioning how this film is special, he added, “This is not just a movie- it’s a glorious tribute to that moment in Indian history that changed it all! It’s about the great achievement of the Indian Cricket Team of 1983- ‘Kapil’s Devils’! These men are legends, and it’s an honour to be a part of the cinematic telling of their iconic story on the big screen! The film takes audiences through the inspiring journey of the Indian cricket team’s first World Cup win under the captaincy of Kapil Dev in 1983. It will release in theatres on December 24.
