Many Indian cricketers and Bollywood celebrities gathered last night for the premiere of Kabir Khan’s film ’83’. The film is based on India’s big win at the 1983 cricket world cup. In the film, Ranveer Singh plays the titular role of Kapil Dev while his real-life wife Deepika Padukone essays Romi Dev’s role. The grand premiere saw a lot of celebs from both worlds gracing the red carpet and posing for paps.
During the event, Ranveer Singh and Kapil Dev were caught in an awkward moment. Ranveer, who is known for his immense energy and happy-go-lucky-vibe can be seen getting too close with the former cricketer. A picture was taken by a popular photographer which showcases a kissing moment between both. Although it might be a little peck while sharing a hug, the picture is already going viral.
Ranveer Singh’s 83 is releasing theatrically worldwide on December 24, 2021. It also stars Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, Harrdy Sandhu, Sahil Khattar, Ammy Virk, Addinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, R Badree and Pankaj Tripathi.
